WHY PLUNTO EXISTS

Built to make everyday life a little easier.

Plunto is an Arizona outdoor freshness company built around a simple belief: the work around a home should not get in the way of enjoying the home itself.

This is the beginning of a company still being written.

WHAT HELP CAN MEAN

She spent a lifetime taking care of things.

My grandmother Jean was fiercely independent. She worked, ran businesses, cared for others, kept her own home, and was still picking up after her dog well into her 80s.

My dad had helped care for her for more than a decade before I became involved. As dementia changed what she could do for herself, caring for her became a much bigger part of both our lives.

What stayed with me was what still mattered to her: her food, her home, her dog Jr., and the ordinary parts of life that made her happy. Caring for Jean changed the way I think about practical help.

The work still needs to get done.
It just doesn't always need to be done by you.

“I didn't spend my life preparing to build Plunto. But once I started building it, I began recognizing pieces of it everywhere I'd been.”

BEYOND THE WORK

What are we actually trying to leave behind?

It's an odd question for a service company.

At first, the answers were pretty straightforward. No pet waste. Cleaner turf. One less thing on someone's list.

But as Plunto took shape, that answer started to feel incomplete.

Something better
than we found it.

More room for what
matters.

THE DEFINITION WE KEEP COMING BACK TO

FRESH

means something is better than it was before.

Fresh air.

Fresh paint.

A fresh start.

A fresh yard.

Fresh doesn't have to mean perfect. It means something has been cared for, improved, or made a little easier to enjoy.

Fresh Yards. Fresh Lives.

PLUNTO

A SMALL BUT FAIR QUESTION

So... what is a Plunto?

It didn't mean anything.
That was kind of the point.

PLUNTO

verb-ish.

To leave something better than you found it and make a little more room for what matters.

HOW WE SHOW UP

We got curious.

Plunto spends a lot of time outside. We started noticing things.

Why does artificial turf get so hot?

What is actually growing in a dog's water bowl?

Why are crickets suddenly everywhere?

So we started looking for answers and sharing what we learned. We call them Freshness Files.

What started as simple posts kept growing. One question led to another. Things we noticed in the field became things we wanted to understand better.

Now we're building those questions, answers, field observations and research into a public Freshness Library anyone can use.

If we're going to talk about fresh, we should probably know what we're talking about.

LOCAL, ON PURPOSE

A local company should know its neighborhood.

We think being local should mean more than having a service area.

So we're getting out into the West Valley. Visiting parks. Learning local stories. Meeting people. Highlighting worthwhile local businesses. Sharing useful community discoveries. Paying attention to the places around us.

WHAT WE DO TODAY

For now, it starts in the yard.

Pet waste removal. Artificial turf care. Recurring outdoor freshness. Practical services that take work off someone's plate and give them more room to enjoy their home.

We don't know everything Plunto will do someday. We know what we're here to do.

WHAT WE'RE WORKING TOWARD

Fresh yards are where we're starting.

Fresh lives are what we're working toward.
